Lighting in a great room
Great rooms tend to be the focus of a rustic home and well used for a variety of purposes. Many have fireplaces/mantles and various specialized areas; reading areas, TV viewing areas and eating areas.
The more variety of lighting you have in your great room the more flexibility you’ll have for arranging specific areas. Ideally you’ll want ceiling lighting on dimmers, table lamps (all should have 3 way bulbs) that are 30-32” high for reading, accent table lamps (typically under 20”), floor lamps, fireplace mantle lighting and some wall sconces.

Weather in Graeagle
There's nothing nicer that waking up on a cold morning, lighting a fire, and having a nice cup of hot coffee snuggled up with warm throw. This morning was colder than it has been in Graeagle this week. A balmy 25 degrees at 7:30am. It's gorgeous now though, sunny and spectacular.
